Will had known the government was doing something fishy. He had slyly made his way into a meeting room to record proof.
Unfortunately, he had been found. Miss Nelson, a government official, had threatened to shoot him on the spot unless he would promise to never say a word. She made it clear that she would not have mercy for a young boy.
Will had agreed, screaming and pleading for life. Miss Nelson had let him go, warning him that if he ever told anyone, he would be hunted down.

Of course, Will told his friends about it. He could not keep that terrifying experience a secret. His friends did not really believe him, but he felt comfort in telling them. He felt like he would not be alone.

Will was walking home a few hours later. Suddenly, a soggy rag came over his face, and an arm wrapped around his arms. He quickly fell unconscious.

He woke up to see a blinding light in his eyes. He was sitting in a chair, strapped tightly to it by several belts. A woman's voice made its way clearly through all the confusion. Miss Nelson.

"Little boy, I'm so disappointed in you. Did you really have to embarrass yourself by telling? You know that no one believes you, right?"
The woman was stirring tea. Perhaps this was not anything serious...
"We need to speak," she said sternly. "Why did you break our promise?"
Trembling, Will responded, "I can't let you hurt anyone!"
Miss Nelson chuckled. "
Well, you see, everything in life has consequences. You broke our promise. Now, I have no choice but to have you pay the price for your actions."
Will was sobbing profusely. "
Please, don't kill me! Isn't there anything I can do?"
"There's nothing you can do to stop this," Miss Nelson replied apologetically. She took out a handkerchief from her pocket and blotted the boy's tears. "Is there anything you want to say before you leave?"
"Can't I at least say goodbye to my friends?" Will begged.
Miss Nelson gulped hard and chose her words carefully. "
You'll have plenty of time in the afterlife to say hello." She stood up and picked up a gun, then she pointed it at him. "I'm sorry, Will. I promise you'll be welcomed into your new life."
Will closed his eyes and muttered, "You'll pay for this." Then the bullet went into his stomach.
Another one of my roleplay things with PrinceCheezburger.
This one goes back to 2013.
I changed the story a bit so it could stand better on its own.

Oddly, this reminds me of the executions after von Stauffenberg's plot against Hitler.
